Forum 1 Topic: Labor Force Challenges and Successes at Play in Our Community
This free forum is designed to foster a comprehensive understanding of the intricate connections between education, healthcare, and business in North Idaho. This series provides a platform for the public to engage with senior leaders from key institutions such as North Idaho College, the region's key education and workforce training partner, Kootenai Health, North Idaho’s community hospital and largest employer, and various business leaders from the Coeur d'Alene Regional Chamber community. Attendees will gain insights into the integrated systems that form the backbone of community well-being, exploring the interdependence of education, health, and business. The forum will spotlight risk areas, emphasize the collaborative efforts necessary for resilient systems, and highlight the overall impact on the health of the community. By delving into the intersections of these vital components, the forum aims to promote dialogue and understanding, ultimately contributing to our community’s access to essential resources such as healthcare, education, and employment opportunities.

- Address Important Issues: These forums serve as a vital platform for identifying and addressing pressing issues that affect our community's well-being, ranging from social, economic, environmental, to cultural concerns.
- Capture Concerns and Ideas: By actively listening to the voices of our community members, we endeavor to capture their concerns, suggestions, and innovative ideas for potential solutions. This enables us to better understand the needs and aspirations of our diverse community.
- Increased Awareness: We aim to raise awareness about significant issues impacting our community, ensuring that residents are well-informed and empowered to participate in decision-making processes.
- Collaborative Solutions: Through collaborative discussions and idea-sharing, we seek to develop actionable solutions and initiatives that address identified challenges and improve the quality of life for everyone in our community.
