Description
4th Annual Women's Luncheon: Empower - Engage - Elevate
Join us for an empowering and inspiring afternoon at our 4th Annual Women's Luncheon! This year's event promises to be an unforgettable experience as we bring together women from all walks of life to celebrate strength, resilience, and success. The luncheon will feature Liz Murray, the incredible woman who went from homeless to Harvard.
Liz Murray's life story is nothing short of extraordinary. Born to drug-addicted parents in the Bronx, New York, Liz faced unimaginable challenges from a young age. By the time she was 15, she found herself homeless and struggling to survive on the streets.
Despite these overwhelming odds, Liz refused to give up on her dreams. She completed high school while living out of friends' apartments and on park benches. With sheer determination and an unbreakable spirit, Liz applied to Harvard University and was accepted, becoming a symbol of hope and resilience.
Liz went on to earn her degree from Harvard and has since become an internationally recognized speaker, author, and advocate for at-risk youth. Her memoir, Breaking Night: A Memoir of Forgiveness, Survival, and My Journey from Homeless to Harvard, is a New York Times bestseller and has touched the hearts of readers worldwide.
At the 4th Annual Women's Luncheon, Liz Murray will share her powerful story of perseverance, the importance of education, and the belief that no matter where you start in life, anything is possible with hard work and determination.
Come and be inspired by a woman who has transformed her life and is now dedicated to helping others do the same.
