Lookout Pass Ski Area is the orginal Idaho ski area which first opened in 1935. The area has tripled is skiable terrain since 2007 and is known as the #1 Powder Place in the Pacific Northwest with an average 400'' of Northern Rockies snow annually. Lookout Pass is located on I-90 at mile marker 0 (zero) on the Idaho/Montana boarder. The parking lot is 200 yards from the I-90 off ramp.
