Description
In honor of National Travel and Tourism Week, May's Upbeat Breakfast is presented by the Coeur d'Alene Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB), and is sponsored by Silverwood Theme Park.
The Kyle M. Walker Champions of Tourism Award will be presented in recognition of ongoing achievements in tourism promotion as exemplified by 'Mr. Coeur d'Alene', Kyle M. Walker. Kyle Walker's landmark pursuits in attracting visitors, promoting the Coeur d'Alene area and showcasing the region was truly outstanding and the continued celebration lives on through the very worthy efforts of each year's recipient.
This month's speaker is Matt Borud, Marketing and Innovation Administrator for the Idaho Department of Commerce.
Upbeat Breakfast occurs the second Tuesday of every month. On average 150 members attend, making it one of the most popular networking events in our community. Trade tables allow members to display their business and briefly address the group. The program features a different speaker each month, highlighting various topics of interest. With a reservation, the cost is $17 and includes breakfast and coffee. Cost for attendees without a reservation is $25.
