About Us

Our mission is to improve lives in our community. We do this by mobilizing the caring power of individuals and organizations from all sectors to understand and address issues facing our friends and neighbors. We can't do this alone, and we rely on individuals to give, advocate, and volunteer.

Our ALICE Report reveals that nearly one-fourth of our north Idaho families are working but can't afford to live in their community. These struggling families must rely on substandard housing, unhealthy food, unaccredited childcare, and unreliable transportation. However, they are working every day to get by. We are working to help ALICE families with financial literacy training, child care assistance, and transportation.

We are also focused on early childhood education. Our Ready! for Kindergarten program is in it's third year providing free training to caregivers to provide the resources and knowledge to help ensure their children enter school ready to learn.

To get involved with either of these programs, or to volunteer in the community, visit our website or give us a call.
