About Us
National Mattress and Furniture is a local and employee owned company and was founded in 1999 by Michael ONeill.
Michael is a graduate of Coeur d´Alene High School and a 40 year veteran in the retail mattress/sleep industry. Prior to opening National Mattress and Furniture, Michael worked as a private consultant helping facilitate the opening of more than 70 mattress stores throughout the U.S. and Canada.
Michael's wife Karla manages our website and social media content as well as networking and sends handwritten thank you cards.
Michael's daughter Brittney Goullette carries her title as General Manger quite well. She trains and supervises our part timers and makes you feel at home when you enter our beautiful showroom!
