Description
Join Foy DeMoss, fur trading expert, for a lecture on the role fiddle music and dancing played in the Northwestern Fur Trade. Foy will discuss how the fiddle entertained fur traders during their stays at trading posts, and was used as a diplomatic tool to communicate and build trade relationships with Native Americans. Foy will also dazzle the crowd with fiddle music, celebrating this uniquely American art form.
