Comedian Steve 'Mudflap' McGrew (the hellbent southern gent) has been featured on Comedy Central in his own half hour special. He can be heard on 24/7 Comedy and on Sirius XM radio. Mudflap has released several comedy CDs, his latest, One Sick Puppy, is now available on iTunes. He is a regular at Brad Garrett's Comedy Club, The Laugh Factory and Sin City Comedy club in Las Vegas.
When McGrew lands on stage you can expect an instantaneously likable, high energy, and rapid fire show. His material is drawn from everyday life situations, and is a hybrid of character work, storytelling and one liner jabs to the funny bone. His “crossover” comedy style appeals to people from all walks of life, age groups, and ethnic backgrounds.
Steve 'Mudflap' McGrew is also in high demand for comedy clubs and casino shows all around the country. Steve also performs regularly in London and around the UK. Additionally, McGrew has opened concerts for several rock and country artists. Steve was an award winning morning radio Dj, with 3 CMAs (country music awards).
McGrew is also host on the wildly popular podcasts REMASCULATE and WRINKLED SHEETS
Featured Act: Ryan Wingfield
Considered among the smartest writers on the comedy scene, Ryan Wingfield is quite possibly the funniest thing to come out of Alaska.
Using a combination of misdirection and innuendo, he keeps his comedy clean while still maintaining an edge. His show includes social satire with a mixture of his own life experiences. From growing up in one of the coldest places on earth to his current role as a stay-at-home dad and "trophy husband."
With over a decade on stage his career has taken him to over 30 states, a dozen countries, and three continents. Performing in every venue from the small town bar or comedy clubs, to Large Vegas Casinos, and even overseas entertaining US troops. You may recognize him from XM radio, Doug Benson's mocumentary "Super High Me", or NBC's "Last Comic Standing."
Opening Act & Host : Alvin Williams Jr
It’s hard to be likable when you’re being brutally honest, but Alvin Williams has found a way, and he’ll show you for a small fee. From the little things in life that truly matter, to the big issues that shouldn’t matter at all, Williams finds the funny in all the places you forgot to look. Whether it’s celebrities, politics, relationships, sports, family, or random tv commercials, you won’t know which direction he’s headed next, you’ll just be glad you took the ride with him.Born in Chicago, IL, Alvin shared his childhood between Illinois, Tennessee, Colorado, Oregon, Louisiana, and Idaho (yes, Idaho), making him a “native son” in many of his performance destinations. Growing up he learned to rapidly adapt to his ever-changing environment by turning strangers into friends through laughter, a skill that is noticeably on display as soon as he hits the stage. He has wasted no time making his presence felt on both the national and international comedy circuit with a non-stop tour schedule that spans the entire United States and Canada to his credit. In 2008 he hosted the inaugural Mile High Comedy Festival in Denver, CO. Later that year he became the recurring host of the Shades of Black Show, a multi-cultural talent showcase that tours college campuses across the U.S. In 2009, he was invited to perform at the Laugh Your Asheville Off Comedy Festival in Asheville, NC, and in 2012 he headlined the Bob 93.7 FM Comedy Festival in Reno, NV.Aside from live performances, Alvin can be seen on the new tv series Comedy Unfiltered on NuvoTV as well as the shows Comedy Brew and Quicklaffs on Hulu.com, and is a 5-time Featured Comic on the viral video network Comedy Time TV.
