The Coeur d’Alene Symphony Orchestra invites you to their season-opening concert, Voices of the Land: A Musical Season from Folk to Fantasy, with an enchanting, family-friendly performance celebrating the animal kingdom through music.
The season-opening concert, A Carnival of Animals… and More Animals, will take place on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. at the Schuler Performing Arts Center, North Idaho College.
Audiences of all ages will enjoy a delightful program featuring:
- Camille Saint-Saëns’ Carnival of the Animals – a playful suite depicting creatures from lions to swans.
- Joseph Haydn’s Symphony No. 82 “The Bear” – a vibrant and humorous work full of energy.
- Sergei Prokofiev’s Peter and the Wolf – a timeless narrated story introducing children to the orchestra.
