Description
The Coeur d'Alene Chamber of Commerce will hold its Annual Meeting and Luncheon on Wednesday, October 28, at 11:30am at the Coeur d'Alene Resort Conference Center. Each year, various leadership roles change hands. This year's Chairman of the Board, JJ Jaeger, will introduce the incoming 2016 Chairman.
Tickets are $40 each, tables of 8 $300.

This year's guest speaker is Mike Towne, Vice President/GM, Frontier Communications Corporation. Michael Towne has extensive domestic and international experience in planning, developing and operating telecommunications companies.
Mike began his telecom career with Pacific Northwest Bell, an AT&T company in the Seattle area and continued to work for US West, and he accepted a 5-year international assignment in Southeast Asia where he was responsible for bringing world-class telecommunication services to the western half of the Java Island of Indonesia and managed the 5,200-telecom employees.
Returning to the United States in 2001 as Vice-President General Manager for AT&T Wireless Services, he retired in 2002. After failing retirement, he accepted a position as Vice President General Manager for CenturyTel responsible for Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico and Wyoming. In July of 2007 he left CenturyTel and accepted a General Manager position with Frontier Communications in Arizona responsible for Bullhead, Ft. Mohave, Mohave Valley and Needles California until June 2008 when he was promoted to Area General Manager responsible for Idaho, Utah, Montana and Nevada. Currently he is Vice President & General Manager responsible for Idaho, Montana, Eastern Washington & Oregon.
During his career Mike has been deeply involved in numerous service organizations such as the Eagle Valley Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors for six years and President of the Board for two, Mohave County/La Paz County Labor Workforce Board, one of the founding members and President of the Economic Council of Eagle County, board member of the Bullhead Regional Economic Development Authority and the board of the Coeur d’Alene Chamber of Commerce. Additionally, Mike is a trained facilitator for the Covey Leadership Institute, teaching the 7 Habits of Highly Effective people to business leaders internationally and in the US.
